I have written articles about a number of topics; critique is invited! An endorsement of the Bush Foreign Policy encompasses the incrementalism that the Neo-Cons have successfully achieved during the first years of the current Millennium. That Israel is actually an ancient country has been documented. I have weighed-in on the Iraqi situation in a limited fashion, citing Colin Powell's speech (that is too-infrequently quoted) and the need to push-along the Iraqi Elections (based upon reviewing its Constitution); the latter was followed within a week (following publication) by a new PM (as the article suggested would break the log-jam). Also, the importance of Kurdistan has been explored, in conjunction with the leader of a shadow coalition-government. Lebanon's problems have been a priority, even as Syria has been a major force against regional peace; UNRWA has proven counter-productive. Overall, I considered the world's aberrant mentation. The Democrats conjure creating a permanent party majority. The Constitution-based depiction of the Vice Presidency was hailed (regarding Palin) and condemned (regarding Biden). Two of them are critical of Pennsylvania Senators Specter and Santorum, although I felt they both have remained preferable to their Democratic-Party competitors. Two of them are critical of Jim Matthews, a Montgomery County Commissioner; they convey a sense of Tough Love that is needed before the Explosion of the Race. One analyzes the Intelligent Design judicial decision, and illustrates the hazards of Politically Correct posturing. Another discusses Coercive Interrogation, based on an essay written by my son (with references available upon request). And the ethics of Immigration policy were documented, while a more recent essay regarding Tobacco was published. |
